Okay, so...

Due to a lot of associates being on leave for various reasons, she can't really work with me right now.

However, she did say that towards spring she may be able to work with me more. Until then she said she will try to put me on more morning and mid shifts.

Oh, absolutely. I'm glad I realized that early on when I started working.

I will do my best! 🫡 I hope I can catch her today. Otherwise there's Thursday when I return to work after my off days.

This week has been bad - this whole month, really. I was gonna give it a while since we have a new clock-in system being implemented, but nah. They can have a little stress too.

I work in retail. 🙃

I'm going to try and see if there's anything I can do. They got me off of closing all the time, so hopefully they'll work with me a little more.

I would love a set schedule, but I doubt they'll give me that.

I don't have time for myself/ my hobbies. My fitness routine is out the window cause I don't have a set schedule. I'm 'unfortunately' good at my job, yet when I follow policy my managers don't have my back. What am I supposed to do?

I can't wait for my off days.

And I dread coming back to work.

I'm sorry for being negative all the time. I try to keep my work and home life separate but the stress from work is starting to creep in at home.

I just want to work, get paid and go home.

I don't want to chit chat.
I especially don't want to get screamed at.

No matter what I try I'm miserable.

The only dislike I have is the critters in the fandom who are being racist and misogynistic. I think it's pretty clear that that's not welcome in the community AT ALL.

The guy that yelled at me also slammed his clenched fist on the counter. 🙃

And, I was called rude by two customers because I didn't make small talk. It's almost like I was overwhelmed, by myself, line out the door, mess everywhere, and I was trying to hurry.

I replied, "Okay".

I thought we had progressed enough where people wouldn't comment like that about tattoos, but given where I live it makes sense.

But I do hate that customers feel like they can get away with talking to me like that cuz I'm in a customer service position, and I'm therefore obligated to be nice. 🙃

Was having an okay conversation with a customer. She starts to walk away, then stops, places her hand on the counter and leans toward me.

"So what are you doing with that stuff all over your arms?"
