Boyle (Shrewsbury) scored and went the distance in a win, while Marriott (Reading) stayed scorching with six goals in six for a draw.

A quiet week overall as many were rested for cup ties or saw their matches postponed — but a few Old Boys still took the pitch and contributed in meaningful results.

Dior Angus (Bootle) — featured in Bootle’s win over Vauxhall Motors.
Mo Faal (Port Vale) — played the full 90’ in the victory over Accrington.

Rory Watson (Scunthorpe United) — also went 90’ in a strong performance as Scunthorpe beat Morecambe.
