Comparing every move Carney makes to a theoretical move Polievre would have made is pointless. Carney's moves should be judged on their own merits. And this announcement sounds like dog shit.

I care about speeding laws in the sense I want them. I don't worry about speeding laws.
Since I don't worry about them I don't need to see any action on them. So if Carney came out and said he's lowering speeds to 30 km, my response would be why are you wasting time on this?
