Another thing - I don’t believe Bluesky would hire actual qualified professionals for some of these rules. Banning extreme dieting and ed promotion would require you to actually have experts, like qualified dietitians, behind the scenes to fact check. All of this is just your word vs theirs

Do NOT believe the misinfo going around

There absolutely have been MASSIVE TOS updates

Most notably:

1) Specifying no FICTIONAL noncon
2) No "dangerous" kink
3) No DISCUSSING self harm, suicide, or substance abuse unless its "educational"

All of these shows have a lot of appeal. Whether they’re rooted in reality or very fantastical, they retain enough realism to still be fun. That and there’s a strong sense that the designers know fashion as well, at least well enough to create designs which will remain appealing even decades later.

Off the top of my head: Naruto, HxH (which influences Naruto, go figure), king of the hill, phineas and Ferb, and Warriors (yes the live action movie)
HM to jojo’s for the fashion history lore worked into it

I think when some ppl think “good character design” they think “complicated” or maybe classic shape language + color theory. I want to know what media ppl think has SUCCESSFUL character design - not necessarily overly complex or simple, but designs so strong they’re recognized by nonfans as well
