It’s possible at some point that this jay’s ancestors may’ve bred with some of the Eastern Blue Jays who colonized Colorado. That’s my theory anyway.😁

PT is going well, thanks. It’s been the biggest challenge. Everything is learning to work together. My therapist is pleased. Me too! 😀

So sorry I was being escorted into physical therapy when I pressed send!

One thing I want to note about this jay is she has a white throat and she’s got a white eyebrow. Steller’s Jays don’t normally have white on them. They are known for their striking matte black crest, head & neck and throat.😊
