Pinna rudis a bivalvae mollusc that lives in small patches of sand in rocky bottoms and in rock crevices. In the Mediterranean sea it almost went extinct due to a virus epidemic that killed the majority of this mollusc. Fortunately it's no longer in grave danger now.

Inonotus cuticularis is found in temperate forests, it can grow all year on dead tree trunks or dead parts of live trees such as Quercus, Castanea, Ulmus, Fagus, Sambucus and Platanus

Syngnathus typhle rondeleti lives were seabeds are full of vegetation, usually Posidonia oceanica. It's long shaped body and color allow it to blend in perfectly making it look exactly like a Posidonia leaf

Lycoperdon echinatum
A non edible mushroom that is commonly found in beech forests. In some regions it was believed to have some healing ability, this mushroom was in fact used as a natural remedy for digestive problems
