He you written a piece talking about "after?" What other uses can these data center be put toward? There is an unending need for normal compute and storage as well, so I like to think that a lot of the centers that are built will be scooped up for cheap by by Amazon(etc) and become part of AWS.

I love how he tries to slip in “they must of planned this years ago!” as a preemptive defense that this is an obvious reaction to his tariffs. You aren’t blaming Biden for this.

My understanding was that he was hired to play the villain (and a smaller part), and then some shakeup happened and his role was drastically changed.

Businesses have been backstopping Trump's idiocy for almost a year now (ordering extra supplies, trimming profits, shifting the books, etc...). The rope has run out. We were all betting on him being brought to heel or having an aneurysm. This is the market reaching the end of the line.

It is not, but solar is becoming so cheap that wind is becoming financially not viable.

We are rapidly entering an era where it is just going to be stupid not to put panels and batteries on 75%+ roofs in the US.

Gas is still slightly (and I mean slightly) cheaper. But basically the way this is playing out is people are going to build solar and some natural gas until fusion comes on line (~2030) and then fusion will become cheaper than solar over the next 10 years.

No one is build more coal production - it would be more efficient to burn cash to generate electricity. This is a myth that people tell Trump to placate his dementia.

I think she's going to go in do a Musk Twitter play, cut 90%+ of the staff, have them effectively read the paper on the air (zero "reporting" on their own) and make a big deal about how old media is completely wasteful. Ellison doesn't care one bit about the news department.
