I'm going to explain everything that is going on with AI right now with a slightly revised movie quote:

He you written a piece talking about "after?" What other uses can these data center be put toward? There is an unending need for normal compute and storage as well, so I like to think that a lot of the centers that are built will be scooped up for cheap by by Amazon(etc) and become part of AWS.

You’re daring him, aren’t you?

Many people don’t realize it, but Covid actually SAVED us from Trump. No pandemic to bail us out this time.

I’m just about ready to unfollow and block

I love how he tries to slip in “they must of planned this years ago!” as a preemptive defense that this is an obvious reaction to his tariffs. You aren’t blaming Biden for this.

Every US refinery being torched for the insurance money…

They will let the entire country crumble to dust rather than let Trump come out in the Epstein files.

Poor dude is desperate for some attention and clout.

What I’ve seen then they are super close right now. I’m sure solar will be sufficiently cheaper in the next few years.

My understanding was that he was hired to play the villain (and a smaller part), and then some shakeup happened and his role was drastically changed.

Legacy is actually much better on the second viewing.

My understanding was that Leto was suppose to be the villain for much development (that was what he was hire as), but then some kind of shake-up happened.

Businesses have been backstopping Trump's idiocy for almost a year now (ordering extra supplies, trimming profits, shifting the books, etc...). The rope has run out. We were all betting on him being brought to heel or having an aneurysm. This is the market reaching the end of the line.

It is not, but solar is becoming so cheap that wind is becoming financially not viable.

We are rapidly entering an era where it is just going to be stupid not to put panels and batteries on 75%+ roofs in the US.

Gas is still slightly (and I mean slightly) cheaper. But basically the way this is playing out is people are going to build solar and some natural gas until fusion comes on line (~2030) and then fusion will become cheaper than solar over the next 10 years.

No one is build more coal production - it would be more efficient to burn cash to generate electricity. This is a myth that people tell Trump to placate his dementia.
policyg.bsky.social
This is absolutely unbelievable. That poor woman.

I can't think of higher praise for the committee than to have Hugh Half-wit be against them.

There is zero chance you can actually believe the GOP has one bit of good faith in universities. Which means you are in on it.

Sometimes it hurts to be this right about the future

I think she's going to go in do a Musk Twitter play, cut 90%+ of the staff, have them effectively read the paper on the air (zero "reporting" on their own) and make a big deal about how old media is completely wasteful. Ellison doesn't care one bit about the news department.
