I have come to the bitter conclusion that nobody has written a really great rock song about either policy or economics from the point of view of the decision maker taking into account proper consideration of trade offs.

Can also recommend their label printers. I had an retired ex brother volunteer when I ran a watersports centre who kept telling me to get one. I kept putting him off till he lost patience and brought one for me and I immediately loved it and have always had one since.

Teaching yourself new skills I have found it pretty good for if you aren't doing something too niche and it's a field where mistakes are obvious early

Right this is the thing. If you were Mr./Mrs. 1000% charisma blazing like the sun, and totally clear sighted in terms of where the party needed to be, vibing with our lanyards.... You just couldn't succeed in that environment you would fail all the purity tests. If ambitious you simply wouldn't join

I feel like to have any chance you have to intervene very early, before the rabbit hole means that much to you, or very late, once they have acknowledged the state they are in at least subconsciously. So the more help out there for the former, the better.

But this is the point though, even Mr Beast (OK I vaguely know who that is but we are here, so I am pretty online by definition) has no cultural footprint beyond a narrow part of the internet. I mean, it's a large narrow part of the internet with a lot of people in it (as politics!) but siloed.
