In the same beat - machines should be designed so that they can be easily (and cheaply) serviced for problems that will crop up 90% of the time. Need to change an oil filter in your car? you should be able to pop the hood, or put it up on a jack, and change it in under 15 minutes.

Move Along Home definitely feels (in retrospect) like they were trying to adjust the dial from TNG to DS9 and tilted it a bit too far towards TNG. Definitely some teething pains in Season 1.

the tone of the entire game is set right from the get-go of the prologue; you and three buddies heroically make a last stand while bleeding out over the american flag. not sure how clearer it can be.
