The receiver caught the ball and then fumbled it after taking possession of it
If the ball just touched the receiver and then fell to the ground it would have been an incomplete pass :)

Help, I think my dog is a republican.

He keeps dropping his ball into places (boxes, baskets, pots etc) he knows he can't reach then whining until I get it out for him.
