Our dystopian future will be caused by companies replacing their consumers with AI and then failing for their lack of foresight. But by then, we’ll have global shantytowns.

Maybe AI would be put to better use curing cancer, climate change solutions, and attacking rare diseases.

Taking jobs from writers, and visual artists, and journalists feels a little targeted.
