Also, I may not have cooked them for the right amount of time? It has 'if making one/if making two' on them... but they count a single package as being '2' because it lists the box as having 4 sticks despite it only having 2 packages. So I'll try the higher time tomorrow. Also: burned my tongue!

Tried the cheese variant, but I have pepperoni, too. I found the latter first and the former earlier today on that York Peppermint Patty run. I'll try the pepperoni tomorrow. Historically, we haven't been big on cubed pepperoni. Thick cuts of meat set off our gag reflex. It's very annoying.

These don't have a crisping sleeve either, but the shell is thinner so they don't get rock hard in places like Hot Pockets currently do. The taste is slightly off, but it's still good. It's still boiling hot goo in a pocket. Cleared my sinuses right up. Corners are a bit tough, but that's expected.

Tried some Jack's Pizza Sticks today. They're like a Hot Pocket if an idiot scored it down the middle. I dunno why you'd ever wanna pull it apart like it says to. Then all the magma in the middle would gush out. Still, in a world without Hot Pockets' crisping sleeves, these are a good replacement.

I've started Episode II. Was every scene with Anakin and Padme a first take? Because it -really- feels that way. Neither of those actors wanted to be there reading those lines. Yikes. Anakin's gotten whiny as he grew up. And Jango Fett's just as bad a fighter as his son will be.

Dark chocolate Reese's? Superior to classic. Less sweet, better contrast of flavors. Dark chocolate Rolos? Brings out the caramel flavor even stronger. With milk chocolate, it all just dissolves into generic 'sweet' flavor. Dark chocolate is just a superior product to milk & white chocolates!

Braved the rain 'cause I desired a York Peppermint Patty.

Got doused on the way back into the house, but it was worth it. These are so refreshing. We've never been huge on mint chocolate, but mint + dark chocolate... well now that's a different story. Dark choco makes any secondary flavor better.

I haven't given up on that. I've got ideas. She needs to apologize to and not run from what's bothering her. Waking her up's going to be hard, but I'm determined that I can do this. She has a safety net now and she knows it. I think she just hates admitting to being wrong, honestly.

I'm not thinking too hard on build order, but we've had an old 1/100 Xabungle banging around for a long time. It needs some fairly vast color correcting, but that just means getting to work on painting skill improvement. Whatever I can should bleed back to Gwen if I can dredge her to the surface.

I don't feel the need to photograph the process, but weather permitting, I'm 3 days out from a finalized model kit. The first I've done fully solo. I feel like some of Gwen's skill is finally bleeding through, but I still made a real dumb error on decal placement today. I'll get there eventually.

Feeling a bit better, thankfully. A lot of times I'm just laid up for a few hours after waking, then my body normalizes. No idea what it is, but it's not worth seeing a doctor for. I just need to start taking precautions. Get a cough drop and blanket at my desk.

Cough drop wasn't helping. Had to get up and go eat some saltines. The tickle's lessened but it's still there. Man... y'know, I was feeling okay for the first 5-10 minutes I was up? This just kinda fell on me after I'd had some cereal for some reason.

I crawled into bed around 6:30 last night and slept until 4.

And I woke up feeling worse than ever. My body had enough down time to get its act together, I guess. So now I'm finally well-rested and I have both a tickle in my throat that keeps making me cough and some nasty chills. Stoooop.

I was hoping for a soft, sweet sugar cookie and instead it's like one of those hard icing sugar cookies that always taste stale no matter how fresh they are. You know, the ones that are too dang thick for no good reason?

Reese's ain't doing so well with tie-ins lately.

Hm. Not sure that lily is very gilded. The bag absolutely -reeks-, y'all. And the taste is like... well, as usual, the peanut butter's trying to overpower it, but you -can- taste the sugar cookie, it just takes hilariously stale. It's not a good, sweet sugar cookie.

Also, I've acquired Reese's Cups with sugar cookie bits in? I'm going to assume they taste of sweet. And that the sugar cookie bits will be wholly lost, since Reese's peanut butter is a dominant, strong flavor. But I guess I'm a sucker for seasonal variants...

The real reason cranberry Sprite isn't sold year-round is they know no one would buy regular Sprite ever again. And listen, I love Sprite. But I would absolute never once buy the normal version again of the cranberry version became a permanent fixture.

Yeah, chat was being a bit overwhelming in their attempts to offer advice, sadly. Seeing someone have an emotional moment after breaking through a boss that's wedged them can be fun, but only if their tears aren't from relief of that pressure being off their shoulders. :/ Clean damn fight though.

Watching through the Star Wars films and gaining a desire to build model kits of the ships and whatnot, I was looking at what all's been made and found the single most horrifying promotional image of all time. From the Han Solo Stormtrooper kit, this skinned Harrison Ford face runner!

That was a lot. Episode I wasn't as bad as I'd heard, but the tone of it is just all over the place, huh? I wish the lightsaber duel at the end had been longer, but I'm happy to see duels are flashier now. I hope that continues forward. Lotta flips and acrobatics. A far cry from Episode IV!
