Long COVID in kids happens at a critical time when kids are physically and mentally developing and may increase their risk for long term disability.

This is why we need more research and resources for this condition to help kids now.

The Federal government gives BC $194 million annually to treat rare diseases.
Medications are not just for curing diseases but to alleviate suffering and improve quality of life.

If the drug was $1 the committee would never have been involved.

Measles, like COVID is a contagious airborne virus.

Handwashing is ineffective for prevention but what is effective includes vaccination, use of masks especially N95 masks, cleaning the air in schools and a public awareness campaign.

The BCCDC is conducting a survey on Long Covid in the province. They ask whether Long Covid was diagnosed by a healthcare provider, which could underestimate the prevalence. Share your thoughts!
