The industry has really gone out of its way to cheapen animation as an art form in recent years. Every time I see a live action adaptation announcement now I can't help but think that it's some studio boss saying " Yes, yes cartoons are well and good but how about we do this PROPERLY"

Finished my Babylon 5 rewatch. Didn't think I'd cry during Sleeping in Light (again) but goddammit it gets me every time.

Sheridan's toast to absent friends hit harder this time when I realised that only two members of the cast at that table are still with us.

It's outright... blandness, wounds me.

I'm not overly fussed on the latest run of comics but the art style is hyper stylised and is a signature of the series. It seems so weird to just strip all that back and just settle on "the Optimus Prime you all know and love, with exclusive BAD GUY ARM!"

Right, here's my opinion that nobody asked for.

At that price? Ludicrous. Regardless of the fact that it's 2 years too late, if you reeeaaally wanted to make the most of this concept, maybe add some detail in line with the unique hyper messy art style. This is offensively clean.
