elegiac means the same thing in romanian as it does in english btw :)
Verses by @alt.red is one of the best pieces of short fiction (interactive or otherwise) i’ve encountered in years. gorgeously bleak, elegiac prose. a clever translation mechanic. crushing in ways i hadn’t anticipated. it made me cry and i think you should read it!! slugzuki.itch.io/verses

plus a soupsource someday blooms from every well-fed polk or boteh. “every pants a squelchy garden” is the motto of such ecstatics, commoner by the day
“so much of the process is analog and social” you’re still riding the high from overhearing one of your passengers say “the bus driver is hot” the other day aren’t you
*banging my knife & fork on the table, chanting incessantly* let the girls melt!!! (literal)!!! let the girls melt!!! (literal)!!!

cybernetic transsexual hellworld romance

and yeah, god, less fictional even than when i wrote it 7 years ago. 😬 feels hard to recommend sometimes bc the horror feels so close at hand
ahh thank u, that means a lot! (✿ヘᴥヘ)

the hottest thing a woman can do is struggle to regulate mechanical waste heat, and we deserve this even in our bleakest futures. (can’t wait to read yours)
stepping in front of buses all day bc i rly want curly lil angel wings & halo but drivers keep braking bc they think i can’t be trusted to be soooo cute ( ɵ̥̥ ˑ̫ ɵ̥̥)
the “sex is defined by how your profession is gendered” thing is honestly one of the funniest takes i’ve ever heard in my life. the gall it takes to be like “using the word cissexual constitutes sexual violence…and also every teacher in the world is female 💅” is fucking legendary
sry for arguing at length with these ppl in your mentions. they’re absolutely deranged & it’s very hard to look away lol
you’re disgusting? absolutely repugnant. goodbye
you might want to try reading that again. unless you made up that fake quote on purpose, hoping no one would notice?
sorry, i have a policy where i block anyone who accuses me of raping people (including my closest friends) simply for talking about them. the word “cissexual” isn’t sexual violence. you are unhinged and genuinely frightening. i do not wish you the best
why would we not compare those two things? is your problem that height isn’t a combination choice & medical need? that’s okay, we can instead say “some trans ppl are glasses-wearers and some aren’t”. if i say that, is that me violently controlling the labor of glasses-wearers?
you’re so confused! adjectives aren’t inherently derogatory. if i say “some trans people are tall”, am i saying “your height is lesser because it doesn’t meet the spec”? am i violently controlling the labor of tall trans ppl? absolutely absurd lmao
what is the difference between my saying “ppl who don’t want to biochemically transition are cissexual” and your saying that sex (not just yours! everyone’s sex!) is defined by profession? you may not be directly calling me “sexless”, but you’re making a claim, then running from your own implication
i don’t have a profession, so i guess you’d say i’m a sexless organism. that’s so wacky!!

it’s rly funny how when u get down it, some of the ppl complaining about making any linguistic distinctions between groups actually make highly bespoke, completely bizarre nonconsensual distinctions themselves
tbc i mean domineering transmeds aren’t very inclusive ppl, so if u think that’s who most ppl who use the word transsexual are, that word probably isn’t used very inclusively on average
that def sounds more gatekeepy than everyone i know who uses the word cissexual
and are u also saying that anytime someone says they’re trans u have to (briefly) philosophically interrogate them before u believe them?
so if like a coworker casually mentioned in conversation that he’s gay & u didn’t have time to ask him to philosophically clarify, u would go home being like “i have no idea whether my coworker is gay or not”? u wouldn’t like draw a default heuristic-based conclusion? just total agnosticism?
when u say it’s broader and more inclusive, what do u mean? i assume u don’t mean descriptively, since u think most ppl who use the word are domineering transmeds, which isn’t very inclusive
