Farage has given up the pretence that he barely knew Nathan Gill. He can't do otherwise, given the flood of evidence to the contrary.

Here is Gill saying he's just come from having lunch with Farage on the day that Farage resigned as UKIP leader 4 July 2016?

Man of the people.... with multiple homes 😬

Nigel Farage says something needs to be done about about Second Homes to stop them from destroying tourist villages.

It's another lie, because Farage has a Second, Third and even Fourth Home.

And he will never tax himself.

Good to blame Farage for the dull-arsed, ruinous, tedious failure of Brexit.
Not that good to keep punishing us for that failure, rather than looking to swiftly boost our prosperity by asking to rejoin the Single Market and Customs Union.
But yes. It’s a start.

www.thetimes.com/article/8875...
Starmer and Reeves are expected to argue that if it hadn't been for Brexit this type of downgrade would not have been needed - and cite official figures suggesting that if Britain had not left the European Union the economy would be about £120 billion greater by 2035 than current forecasts suggest.
The message is simple: Farage is ultimately to blame, as the man who delivered Brexit with "easy sloganeering" then walked away from the aftermath rather than putting in the hard yards.
Or to put it another way: Farage, not us, is responsible for putting up your taxes.
The theme will tie to the main thrust of Starmer's argument at conference, that the Reform leader is selling easy solutions that are just a fantasy.

Someone just sent me this - and it should be a lesson to everyone to never count your chickens before they’re hatched.

And on that note, I shall continue what is referred to as a “dedicated & unrelenting character assassination campaign” against the
If the Donald gets the Nobel Peace Prize today, I'd like to dedicate it to all the followers of @BearlyPolitics (who's no longer on X) for his & their dedicated & unrelenting character assassination campaign against the greatest POTUS in my living memory. Tough shit,

I disagree. It's more a damning indictment of a proportion of the population who do not wish to engage with facts or truth. The gullible hard-of-thinking who are too easily sucked in by GBnews, the daily fail and the rw media. In the thrall of Farage, who is as self-serving as it gets #evilRefUKers

The fire consumed both books.

In a tragic twist, he hadn’t even finished coloring the second one.

Starmer’s had a really productive trip to India. 10,600 jobs secured. Including 200+ for Wales. And huge market opened up for Scotch Whisky. It’s so refreshing to have a PM who consistently delivers for his Country 👏👏👏
