I apparently had a doppelganger at NYCC. I never saw them, but they were spotted by two friends at separate times, and by a man working a booth I hadn't been to who looked at me and said, "You're back!" with the mild confusion of someone in an Olsen twins movie who didn't know there are two of them.

I know 90s media broke my brain because I think cigarettes are disgusting and cigarette smoke is foul and don't know why anyone is consuming tobacco in 2025...but someone just asked me for a light and I was ✨️honored✨️ that he thought I might be cool enough to have a lighter.

If I had a nickel for every time a TV show I otherwise enjoyed buried a gay this summer, in 2025 when the LGBTQ+ community is under attack more than we have been in years, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but super fucking discouraging that it's happened twice.

Yes, on a show's page it will say "returning series" or "ended." It's great for that because I also sometimes lose track of if/when a show is coming back but then it will pop up on my "to watch" list and I'm like oh sweet. It also tells you which streaming platform it's on, which is helpful!!

I went to bat for Sabrina Carpenter when Espresso was popular because the phrasing, though unusual, still made sense to me. I can appreciate linguistic creativity, to a point.

There is no grammatical defense for, "When did you get hot all the sudden." The phrase is "all *of a* sudden". Sorry, girl.
