Commission prices 2025:

Standard rendered piece with background are $70 (+$10 for alts)

Reference sheets are $100

Asset Packs which include pngtuber assets, image sequences, patterns, branding are $50+ (discussed per-project)

Not old even, the Mila Jovovich RE movies are incredible. I was told they were weird and bad.

Otherwise there are indie publishers. Though they tend to trade in more art house or horror films.

Actually I'm a huge fan of just finding older movies I've never heard of and watching those.

If you ever have the budget. Go to a local film festival! They usually have some cool stuff!

You can learn about smaller production houses. Learn the names of lesser known talent!

In the mass market Blockbuster scene? Yeah.
It's them, Illumination, WM, and a couple others.

Disney is definitely big enough to trigger antitrust laws, but they do still have (some) competition.

Everyone involved in the actual creation of these projects cares so much.

But yeah. Tron has just never been a money maker. It keeps coming back because people like the movies in retrospect. They always have hardcore fans on release, but they tend to only achieve mass appeal after a decade minimum.

Disney would prefer Marvel or Star Wars still be stupid profitable. Tron is only back because they are rooting around their IP to find the next Marvel now that Marvel is struggling.

This isn't a diss on the creative teams for Disney movies at all, by the way.

Jared Leto wanted to make this movie specifically. He's been trying to get it made for a decade because he is a Tron fan and Disney is grasping at straws at the moment.

People care about these movies, no doubt. It's just that Disney doesn't care about these movies.

I guess? Tron has never been a cash cow though. There's a reason it only comes back every decade or 2. The movies have a good reputation with fans. The movies don't bomb, but they never make enough to justify a sequel. So they wait a while and try again.

I genuinely don't understand all the poop related blind boxes. Like I get it. Poop is funny, but also... Like what are kids getting out of this? These are expensive toys. And you don't even get to know what they are until you open them. This has to be aimed at adults.

"Tron Legacy" is in my top 10 movies, and I am so deeply upset that every new thing I hear about "Tron Ares" makes me feel worse and worse.

Why is Gary Vee in this movie?
