Alastor’s a brat (and has lots of issues) but in addition to making his own mistakes Rosie makes him wallow in the consequences of his actions before encouraging him to learn from them on his own instead of spoiling him. It’s an interesting relationship for sure

This is why I LOVE Rosie and am honestly thrilled she’s his ”master” of all the options she’s literally the best: she adores Alastor as a sort of stern mother/aunt/older sister figure who treats him with patience & respect but doesn’t tolerate his bratty BS, humbles his arrogance & advices him

I believe her exact words were she believes anyone is POSSIBLE of redemption, but she's also learning that not everyone is WORTHY of redemption--Redemption is a choice.

Right!? Based on Rosie's flashback it sounds like Alastor came from a background and life where he had literally NO power at all, thus he adequates power with freedom, but now he's understanding the limits of what power can give him and that its not what he needs
