Hello everyone! I'm excited to announce an all new anthology from the Secret Trans Writing Lair! Inspired by the month of masquerade, this seasonal bundle includes seven all-new stories of devilish disguises and macabre delights-

How a society "handles" its Freeloaders is ultimately going to be how it treats its most vulnerable people. And in America specifically, where homelessness is already a crime with a prison sentence, disabled people are nothing more than sacrificial lambs to policy-makers. 3/3

It's debatable whether Freeloaders are even a real thing, but we know that most people who are able to work WANT to work, just on something that matters rather than the jobs that are actually available. And those who can't work aren't incentivized by the stick. 2/3

Something that doesn't get litigated enough is the guiding principle of at least American policy that assumes every person is actually a Freeloader, capable of but unwilling to work even when incentivized by a carrot, who NEEDS the threat of starvation to actually get off their butts. 1/3

I love laying in bed on my day off and holding my partner @epistemicpolymath.bsky.social super close

Other things that never get old: freshly shaved legs, looking cute with any haircut, hugs from other girls and girl-adjacent folk.

I've gotta be honest: even a decade later, there is an a small flutter of joy when I look into the mirror and get to see myself in a dress, or wearing makeup, or just visibly wearing a bra. Small achievements that have never stopped feeling fresh no matter how many times I've done them.

Bills are paid for the month. 😌 Do not have a lot of money left in the budget for groceries the next two weeks, but we will manage.

However you choose to support me by buying my work, thank you so much. Every purchase means the world to me; I have wanted to be a published author for my entire life. The fact people want to actually read my silly little things fills my heart with job.

Itch! Like with Patreon, you get both the epub and pdf files DRM-free, but this marketplace is a bit more accessible to people just because of its size and presence.

Wasabi is incredibly spicy without being the least bit hot, and my body does not know what to do with that. I felt it sting in my nasal cavities and cheeks.

Both the ebook and a pdf copy of my new anthology are available not only through my Patreon but also Itch. Both are DRM-free, allowing you to keep them permanently and share them how you like, and only for FIVE dollars!

And it is finally, finally, finally done. My next anthology is now available, featuring six stories (some of which are quite long) from the horror genre all featuring trans women facing and overcoming their demons. Please check it out and enjoy.

Just ruined the whole bus ride for me

Jeez, there really is just a certain type of man who cannot wait to tell a captive audience how much they hate women. I thought people like that were a myth.

My trans horror anthology is fully edited! Now there's nothing left to do but finalize the order of stories and format it for publication. For once, I'm actually going to hit a deadline, though I'm undecided if it should be for Halloween or before that.

I wish someone had warned me that when I lost weight, I'd also lose most of my appetite, and it would become harder to get the calories I need to actually maintain my weight. That being said, I do have to be careful not to fall back into a pattern of binging thoughtlessly sometimes. >w<

Revisiting Super Mario 64 and Sunshine has been a strange experience. I know the versions for Switch are regarded as kind of janky to begin with, but the controls feel really primitive compared to Odyssey. Good to know that it wasn't JUST that I sucked at games as a kid.

I have finally finished the initial redrafting for the final story of my upcoming anthology. It's not a big rewrite, but I've really brought these older stories up to my current standard of prose. I still have some revisions and editing to do, but if I'm committed, I could be done in two weeks.

I am loving the new job, but I am always so tired by the end of the day. Hopefully I'll get used to it. The downside is I have less time to write, but counter-intuitively I have more motivation to get to it when I do have time. Other projects had to move to the backburner, but what you gonna do?
