I keep saying it; global non violent civil resistance was WORKING and it scared the crap out of the global oligarchy. Especially when it got to the Arab Spring.

This has lead to the authoritarians locking shields and the corporatists capitulating.

The people need to join together to resist.

The same people telling the left to “tone down” the antifascist rhetoric told MLK to do similar.

His response in the letter from the Birmingham jail is the same we should offer now; you should be joining us, not silencing us. Our actions prove the injustice of your complacency.

You can read about this in action in Rev. Wurmbrands “Tortured for Christ,” where Romanians imprisoned for their faith prayed for those who tortured them.

Some of those guards converted and were put in prison right along side those they harmed. All were treated as brothers.

That’s not how Christ works. His disciples are taught to love our enemies, bless those evil curse you, pray for those who persecute you. In this way, we show them the barbarity of their scrubs. When there is violence and hatefulness, the oppressor can use that as a cause justification.

Afraid that goes for Christian Dems as well. They refuse reform, allow income inequality through monopolies and union busting, police brutality & prison labor, weapons of mass violence, and enabling outright genocide.

Though some few have voted with sanders token resistance in that.

The lack of pushback from the Church is truly sad. There was an open letter by hundreds of faith lessers denouncing Nationalism, but that falls far short of what they should be doing. Just like they didn’t correct segregation or slavery.

I have chronic depression, when my dog died I was in a bad state. Went to a friends house and their Great Dane practically pushed me down so they could press their face up to mine. I’ve had plenty of dogs cuddle, I’ve never experienced that before. About broke down in tears.
