People still talk about the Labour Party as being on the Left.

But the Conservatives were on the Right, for 14 years they destroyed the UK.

What has been undone that they did? What has been changed? Very little, it's mostly cosmetic, tiny taxes on the rich and breakfast clubs.

Legalising drugs would bring in £9.4bn in tax, if current drug prices were maintained

It would save lives (clean needles, untainted supply) and allow addicts easier access to treatment

By all means levy a tax on private healthcare *providers* and charge them fees if they offload their clients on A&E when they cock up.

But healthcare is not a luxury. It should no more be taxed at point of purchase than should food.
