Idk, it's kinda dumb but also cute and there's about to be a big interruption to the life they've had the past five years

Well Mama MacTav's chap is over 3k, but I've finally made it to the lads!

Roach is a wee bit anxious, and playing with the kids was a good distraction, but not without its consequences... mainly for his hair. (and just when he thought he'd tamed the perma-bedhead)

A snippet from ellipsus,

"Afraid there's been a casualty, Sergeant," says Ghost somberly, and it's not hard to guess what he's talking about considering where he's looking.

(Roach signs) 'How bad?'

"On a scale from decent to disaster…"

Roach groans, reaching up to tug at his hair - which is definitely not going to help him but what does it matter now anyway. Though why did it matter in the first place? It's not like the Alpha will actually take him, he wouldn't go even if she tried. What if they do try though–

Gentle fingers coax him into dropping his hands, then start to comb through the mess. It's soothing, grounding. His shoulders go lax.

Ghost hums, contemplative, "Which one was it that believed when I said you wash your hair with strawberries?"

With an amused huff, he mumbles, "Mary."

"Should've replaced your shampoo with something strawberry scented, could've convinced more of them."

I have no idea what's up with all the clinical terminology, and I'm not even sure if that last bit (additional notes) even makes sense but there it is

Below is a comparison chart, an 8 by 7 table that displays the following information-
An alpha male has a penis, testes, a knot, and mating glands.
An alpha female has a penis, testes, knot, vagina, and mating glands.
A beta male has a penis, testes, and mating glands.
A beta female has a vagina, womb, and mating glands.
An omega male has a penis, vagina, womb, slick glands, and mating glands.
Finally, an omega female has a vagina, womb, slick glands, and mating glands.
Beneath the table are some notes in a bullet list.
First point, The testes of Alpha Females are internal
New point, The knot is an erectile muscle slash structure of tissue that swells before ejaculation and prolongs erection and ejaculation with intermittent contractions. Its purpose is to tighten and lock (or 'tie') the penis inside the mate's vagina to increase the chance of successful breeding. On average, a tie lasts for 15 to 20 minutes, but the range is anywhere from 5 to 50 minutes.
Last point, Slick glands are small glands in the vaginal lining that produce additional lubricating fluid known as slick when stimulated. And even then there's still debriefing to get through, and he should write up his mission report while everything's still fresh.
But he needs to be alone for a few hours, needs time and space so he can fall apart and put himself back together without anyone knowing he'd cracked in the first place.
