LNG Canada Phase 1 is preparing to export 14 Mt of fracked gas/year. Just fracking & processing this gas will add 4 Mt of CO₂ to BC’s emissions. Once burned abroad, that number jumps to 36 Mt—more than half of B.C.’s current emissions.
