Phoenix Bikes works with youth, serves as a community bike shop, and creates connections that strengthen our entire community. Every dollar donated helps us put more wheels on the road and more smiles on faces.

This year alone, working w our amazing partners, we've distributed 51 bikes to community members who needed them most. The joy and gratitude I see when someone receives their bike is absolutely incredible. These are lifelines to employment, pathways to recreation, and keys to independence.

Today at Phoenix Bikes we refurbished one bike with a transplanted bottom bracket from another, a crank set from a third, and a derailer from a fourth. As covered by WAMU, there are many very cool bike organizations in the DC area proclaiming the magic of bikes #bikedc
