I am seriously starting to worry about the French. Firstly, nobody had common sense enough to install a fire detector and water system to extinguish a fire in Notre Dame, and now common theives walk away with museum treasures and the authorities seem perplexed. Good grief.
As a devout Atheist living in a devout Catholic country, my lifelong fascination with religious icons was reignited. There are so many talented craftsmen and artists here and I have used them on my projects and in my own home as shown. Respect other people's beliefs. Reward people's talent.
With all of the crap going on in the world, do what you can to make it better. A simple dog rescue (I have maintained a VERY large 4 footed rescue family). This is Lalo before and after, who I found on a freeway near Dolores Hidalgo. We can't save the world, but trust me, you can save a pups life.
