Happy birthday to William Penn, born in London on October 14, 1644 (died July 30, 1718). In addition to being the founder of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he was an influential Quaker leader and a strong advocate of religious freedom.

William Penn was an English Quaker leader, influential philosopher, and founder of the American colony of Pennsylvania, which he designed as a refuge for Quakers and other religious minorities. Granted the land by King Charles II to repay a debt to his father, Penn established a government with democratic principles, religious freedom, and fair dealings with Native Americans, creating a lasting legacy that influenced the U.S. Constitution.

He is well known for his amicable relations and successful treaties with the Lenape people who resided in present-day Pennsylvania before European settlement.

Good afternoon!

The one you speak of can knock all he likes - I don't think St Peter is going to open it for him.

The poster of Jerry is in my living room. It's from 1 of the April '72 shows in Copenhagen.

You may be a Deadhead when your home decor coordinates with an unexpected kindness. ❤️

Today, to show his appreciation for the time and work I put into packing up his apartment, my brother gave me his Europe '72 set. He said he wanted me to have it. He didn't want it to go to a collector just for the sake of it being a collectible. I promise, I'll listen to them! He had the mp3s.
Grateful Dead collection of all the shows from the European tour steamer trunk & books. The collection. Poster of Jerry Garcia from one of the Copenhagen shoes.

Family!!

His stuff is moved and he is moved. His grandsons were booted from the basement. My niece is painting in the basement tomorrow. Once he gets settled there he'll have his own entrance to come and go. I'm in the cleaning & donating phase now.

I am. I just got back from Berwyn. When I was disconnecting Wayne's TV I had great difficulty with the coaxial cables so it could be moved. In the process the power cord didn't go with the TV 🙄

I took 202 over and came back on 363. Lovely ride through Valley Forge & Audubon.
