I think a lot of young nerds, like myself, remember listening to the Doctor...probably when we should have been asleep or something else more productive. But how else were we supposed to learn all the lyrics to "Shaving Cream" or "Dead Skunk?"

When my husband turned 50, I decided to prevent him from becoming a middle-aged guy super into WWII or the Civil War. So, I preempted that by buying him a turntable and some vinyl records. Best decision I ever made.
