Tyrant Lizard Queen will be stomping your way next year, so it’s a good time to get into When the Earth Was Green if you haven’t already. 🌱

premee has VERY good books if you have coins

"What do you mean" Well sometimes people ask me "So, do awards help with book sales?" and anyway, not universally. I definitely do NOT believe that I (or indeed any author!) am entitled to book sales. But I, uh. Can't live on mine. :)
a screencap from the ISFDB showing 'highest ranks authors and editors since 1950 by decade,' then the top 12 list showing premee mohamed at #3 for the 2020s. then a royalty statement indicating $209.10 total earned over a six month period, and, quite reasonably, an arrow pointing to a beetle with a clown face labeled 'me'

Patches tank top. What are our thoughts
A tank top featuring several small drawings of my little dog comfort sona Patches alongside the text: I love vaccines, autism, abortions, queers, hormone replacement therapy, & crime!

This text is originally from a vintage punk button from the 70s and doesn’t belong to any particular person that is traceable. I changed a couple works, replacing “homosexuals” with “queers” and “sex changes” with”hormone replacement therapy.”

“The chair is just settling,” I tell myself as it approaches catastrophic failure.

Look, I wasn’t going to post it. We’re not in bluesky’s fun era anymore. But if you call me out

Know the power of breaking a chair beneath you.

I’m not saying I have a fat ass but a friend has one less lawn chair because of me.

Exactly. I love when I put on anything with a heel that takes me over six feet and Splash just looks up at me murmuring “Tall girlfriend.”

Speaking of romance, I love the trope of a couple just dancing in the living room or kitchen for no reason. That always hits me in the feels.

Even better is

“Hey you’re short.”

“Really? Thanks! I could be shorter…”
restingdinoface.bsky.social
I love when someone short enjoys being told “Hey you’re short” and you can make their afternoon just by saying so.

I have friends who want to attend and “see what it’s really like,” and I get the impulse. But cons, especially, are places where we owe no one explanations and don’t deserve the anthropological analysis. Come if you’re curious, for sure, but not to treat it like an actual zoo.

I hope the shirts fail and we can focus on making stuff - the freakier the better - for our own community. I want people to know enough to leave us to our thing but still keep the scene as a bit opaque, something to choose and be chosen back by rather than a place of normie tourism.

Strata rarely ever shows her belly. When she does, it’s when she feels I haven’t been responding to her bids quickly enough and she *really* wants some attention. She never leaves me to wonder what she wants.
