My wife and I do this nearly every day. Nothing in her feed but joy, laughter, beauty, cuteness, delicious recipes, etc. It's taken her years of careful cultivation, but now both Instagram and TikTok serve her nothing but positive vibes. No darkness or hate mongering whatsoever. It's delightful.

Harbinger Down is a fascinating movie because it was made by the practical effects team that got snubbed / replaced in the shitty 2012 The Thing prequel. The one the studio ruined by shoe-horning really low quality CGI into. So they said screw you, we'll make our own movie, with blackjack & hookers.

To be fair the Coral Tower is probably the part I hated THE MOST. Like when I finally got to the actual boss I first tried him & loved the fight, but that was after banging my head against the wall for two days straight & over 50 attempts to get through the FOUR consecutive arenas first. Ludicrous!

Robots are pretty quickly becoming more capable and affordable. If you think this won't impact the labor market, you're engaging in cope, and if you don't think we should all benefit from robot labor via universal basic income as a fair GDP dividend, you're helping billionaires become trillionaires.

Yes, but also, we don't need to strengthen our position with them, we just need to give up on them and continue to make better trade relations elsewhere. They're toxic, and will take decades to clean up their act if ever. Meanwhile, life must go on and get better for us. New & better allies needed!

Even though I've been slowly getting her into more anime with careful curation (she'd never watched any before meeting me, she thought it was immature despite being very nerdy in other ways), I've been hesitant to go for FMA despite her asking about it, specifically because of Nina. Hard to watch! 😭

You know it's funny, my ex and also my wife both refused outright to ever watch Jurassic Bark after the first time seeing it, even though they both love Futurama. My wife even enjoys the later season time travel arcs because you get more Seymour context, but she still won't rewatch the OG episode. 😁
