I grow ever more dark. As much as I love NWA, I look back in sadness. Watching this vid, or hearing the song, when it first hit, was just such a hopeful thing to me. This meant change. A future I could live in. All that time pissed away. We're miles behind where we were, let alone should be.

Lately, that some kind of "red flag" waver probably finds it equally disturbing if a man can read. Men should be drunk in the bowling alley or at work drunk, where they belong. Books are dangerous, they can lead to thoughts.
