This week at Revolution Church we are talking about those who claim to teach the Bible but whose teachings are full of empire and bigotry instead of love. We look at what happens when faith becomes political.

This week at Revolution Church we are talking about Matthew 19 and how Jesus spoke about the wealthy, while looking at the history of variable equality in the US. We see that the system isn’t broken, it was designed this way.

So I didn't get it at first, but the sticker I covered was styled after the logo for "the North Face"
There was a sticker on this bollard that said "the white race," so I had to do something about that.
I can’t figure out if it’s good pastoring or bad pastoring that I’ve had more people check out my online church from dating apps than my Facebook posts. 🤣
At a lunch courtesy of Repairers of the Breach. Here is some data on the damage being done by the “Big ‘Beautiful’ Bill”
We still believe we are called to do great things, to change the world we live in.

TFAM turns 25 years old, and we exist for such a time as this!

The theme for this TFAM convocation could not be more relevant or apt for this moment in time. “We Still Believe.” We are a queer centered and POC centered group, and even with everything happening in the world that is targeting our very personhoods, we still believe in justice that comes from God.
This week at Revolution Church we look at being different parts of the Body of Christ and how that transfers to us finding our place within movements for justice and equity. We remember we can’t do everything, but that we’re perfectly made for one of the roles.

Got the last one at Fountain Pen Hospital in NYC. I’ve wanted one of these since last pride.
We need to mobilize more and make our voices heard. If 9 million protested, there are absolutely another 3-4 million who disagree with the administration but weren’t there because of work, children, life, lack of transportation, disability, and a million other reasonable reasons.

We CAN do this.
History says 3.5% of the population is the magic number to topple a dictatorship. That comes out to somewhere between 12-13 million people. Yesterday’s protests had an estimated 9 million.

We’re close.
