there's a lot to say about FFT that can be better said by actually playing it. it's incredibly satisfying to see Ramza question the society that has given him the privileges that are constantly being denied to the general populace, and him making stands against that system.

24. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles: Still a bonafide classic and a truly radical game in every sense of the word. My critiques on parts of the game experience mean virtually nothing when they're stacked against a war story that aims this high and hits its target dead center.

Whether FFXII development collapsed because Matsuno was stressed or he didn't get his way like he did on most projects, I'm sad the story was incomplete and altered. We could've had it all again... (I still love XII though)

Watching people exp FFT story is funny. I think there games that are inspired by Matsuno's style. But then when you play it's just somehow on an entirely new level lol
