The U.S. Postal Service recently announced that the 2026 Route 66 Centennial Stamp Collection will be released next year, and all the images were taken by longtime Mother Road photographer David Schwartz. Schwartz said in a social media post that he'd known the USPS would print Route 66 stamps for about 18 months. It’s hard to describe what this moment means.
