I really liked the first season of this, it rode the line between cheesiness and humour, and action elements and I had a good time.

Season two isn’t balancing quite as well.

Still has a very good cast, though.

Good to see Australian Unions social media accounts starting to consistently post about the major corporations who don’t pay tax.

Let’s keep that ball rolling, that conversation going, and let’s make it impossible for any government to ignore our frustration with that fact.

Hurry up and burst already, AI bubble.

And finally - the most rewarding part for me, despite a raft of results I really dislike, was the sheer volume of people who messaged and told me this was the first time they’ve voted in local elections - that feels like a win no matter the results!

10) there was some truly amazing people elected, and they all tend to be community minded and supportive.
11) we lost a lot of very good councillors and missed out on some amazing candidates - and our communities will be worse off without them.
12) we also got rid of some really awful candidates

6) the same people who vote in this election every time clearly did so again this year and low turnout got them what they wanted.

Once again thanking Australia’s lucky stars that early governments implemented compulsory voting, we don’t worry about anything close to that low, even on a bad turnout election.
