Hello, lovers of the beautiful and the damned 🖤

My debut novel, The Burning of Saint-Gilles, re-imagines Dracula’s origin story with a fresh take on our favorite fanged villain’s mysterious history 🧛

Out on query—light a candle & send good omens

Dragomir (Dracula) is the protagonist in my story, giving him a chance to tell his side of the story—a #wicked 💚 🧙‍♀️ 💗 take on the Dracula legend

Thank you!! 🫶🙏❤️
Workin on it! 100 agent submissions in so far (28 rejections). It's a long book (197k) so I think it's putting off a lot of agents who might otherwise be into the concept. But I grew up on epics like Goodkind - I wrote what I know best!

Hopefully I land an agent - if not selfpub 2026!

Lil treat for my #Galemancers

Gale’s eyes met mine for a fleeting second. Surely by no coincidence, the tent began to feel a bit too warm.

“I need some fresh air.” I flapped open the tunic and pulled it over my head, wincing as I slid my burned arms through the sleeves.

Adam Sandler

You are a child at heart, you’ve got a great sense of humor, and you’re probably a bit of a softie. You might use humor as a crutch, but you usually make people laugh, even when they don’t want to.
Klaus Kinski

You have eccentric and refined taste, appreciating the strange and extraordinary things in life. You are kind, curious, and artistic, but there is a chance that you may be a bit of a snobby cinephile.
Leslie Nielsen

You are likely the loudest and most unpredictable person in the room, but you enjoy making people laugh and you’re probably the kind of friend who shows up with soup and a movie when a friend is sick.
Richard Roxburgh—This is a real one right here.

You are a true disciple of vampire lore and you aren’t a crowd-follower. You know what you like, and you’re not ashamed of it. You enjoy the finer things in life and gravitate to elegance and sophistication.
Luke Evans—You’re a theater kid with a thing for bad boys, and you’re terrible at recognizing red flags in your romantic partners.
Gary Oldman—You are a hopeless romantic who is extremely forgiving.

You are an artist at heart, appreciating differences and unique experiences, but deep down you’re still waiting to be stalked by a brooding bad boy who only has eyes for you.
Jason Segel—🥰 AWWWW

This is a deep cut. If this is your favorite Dracula, you are a bright light in this world and I think the planet would be a better place with more people like you in it.
Nicolas Cage—You’re weird, you’re loud, and you might have unhinged tendencies. You might be a bit high-strung and you probably like things that freak other people out, like snakes and spiders for pets. You have unreasonably strong opinions about things, whether or not they are important.
Gerard Butler—You clearly have a thing for sexy men and Scottish accents...

(giggles in guilty)

It this is your favorite Dracula, are you sure you’ve even seen Dracula? In fairness, though—Mr. Butler is far from the weak point of Dracula 2000 and he’s certainly not hard on the eyes

#gerardbutler
Claes Bang—This is the only right answer.

You have exceptional taste and you know a good thing when you see it... but you also have severe daddy issues. And I do mean that in both uses of the word

(guilty as charged...)

#claesbang
Christopher Lee—You’re either a bit of a rebel or a wannabe baddie, and probably a teensie bit of a snob when it comes to classic films—especially horror. You don’t mind a bit of camp with your horror, but you’re certainly not one to shy away from a creepy good time.
Bela Lugosi. Big Golden Retriever energy.

You are adorable, and you might also be a film nerd who believes watching black and white movies makes you more cultured than everyone else. You may be afraid or unwilling to try new things and tend to play it safe, but you’re reliable and dependable
What your favorite #Dracula says about you - a series!

These are meant to be fun roasts—as unserious as it gets. No insult or harm was intended in making this silly list.

Tease of upcoming 🥵🌶️ scene with Fiodhan & Astarion, since I won't have anything posted in time to celebrate #BG3Kinktober

Nothing actually kinky here, just two hot guys being hot 🔥 (fear not, #Galemancers, Fiodhan is just having a bit of Act 1 fun)

The first line of The Burning of Saint-Gilles:
They used to call him a sin eater, and Dragomir supposed that was true enough. He’d spent centuries traveling the world, seeking out the worst of humankind. Culling the herd. The only difference was that Dragomir wasn’t exactly a savior for the damned.
BG3 update! Chapter Five: 🔥 A Warm Night by the Fire 🔥 A little campfire bonding (and bickering) with our favorite heroes

If you’re new to my fic—we’ve crash-landed off the nautiloid and stumbled into Emerald Grove, already picking up some interesting company.

In The Burning of Saint-Gilles, vampires aren’t mindless monsters.

This is a story for fans of dark fantasy, gothic horror, and morally complex heroes — a tale where every choice matters, every life counts, and every shadow hides secrets you might not be ready to face.
