It’s great for people to educate themselves on the harmful portrayals of Asian women on Western media, so they can be more conscious and informed in their possible internal biases on Asian women and stop perpetuating said stereotypes.

Honestly, the takes from that side of twitter dot com are so one dimensional and sometimes doesn’t even make sense at all when you look at the canon material. Also, a huge portion of shippers on twitter dot com are caitVI aka extremely vi centric so there’s the first issue you’ve mentioned.
