A vagrant, usually found in the humid evergreen and mixed forests along the Pacific Coast, the Varied Thrush has been gracing Prospect Park for the last few days.

A very “un-shy” Connecticut warbler found in the Trinity Church graveyard today (and the last few days.) It’s just a small stretch of land that you might think was an unlikely bird haven…you’d be wrong 🧡
Verizon Plaza is a thin area stretching between 41st @ 42nd St. just west of 6th Ave. This Yellow-breasted Chat has been frustrating and delighting photographers there for the last five days. The eyering and supercilium (eyebrow) make it quite distinguishable from the Common Yellowthroat.
