It's a 2.5 V6; great noise, not so great fuel consumption. The V8 would be very interesting, although I believe there are lots of bespoke parts on it so I imagine that can make ownership tricky at times.

I've had the #Rover 75 for almost 2 years now, and I still enjoy taking photos of it.

One of the few joys of this time of year is you can take your time washing the car without racing to finish before it dries!

Fair play.

Taking 5 months off gives us the chance to do some more jobs on it. Plus, the almost £400 road tax is slightly more palatable if I only pay for 7 months of the year.

Manufacturers are stuck between a rock and a hard place aren't they. People want small, light, and affordable cars. But they also want all the safety kit which makes cars bigger, heavier, and more expensive.

The thing that @tobywakeford.bsky.social has hated about the #Rover 75 since I got it has been rectified today.

The ZT-style exhaust back box is gone, replaced by an original-style 75 one. Looking much better now.
