i absolutely think dave initially had a crush on kaz while kaz was training him but it goes away and he ends up seeing kaz as a father figure. i think yes kaz would be hard on him in training but if he ever saw dave struggle he'd be nice to him... that's his son

Venom looks up from his seat on the edge of the bed to take in his visage. Kaz is bare except for a pair of black boxers, which do nothing to conceal his growing interest. He gained weight after Afghanistan, something he was self-conscious of. Since he got bionic prosthetics, he's been working out again. The end result is he's lost weight, but he's still a little soft in the stomach, which Venom loves. He's grown out his hair a little, long enough to tie up. It's let down right now, the soft blonde locks feathering over the back of his shoulders.

"I'm thinking that you're beautiful," Venom says, "and that I'm lucky I get to have you."

Kaz flushes, his expression twisting in embarrassment. He huffs, folding his arms across his chest. "Don't try to embarrass me."

"I'm not," he replies honestly. He reaches out to grasp his hips, smiling up at him. "Thank you for choosing me."
