3rd bar, the very nice Barley Twist...seems pork pies are a speciality, brought 1 pork & hock (??) & a Pork & Chorizo scotch egg for later. Micro bar close to the station with TV screen showing train departures.

Very positive, but realistic, @iwa-uk.bsky.social annual meeting in Nottingham, attended by over 100, online and in person. Acknowledged that IWA, like UK navigation authorities, have been too blasé and need to change.

In Nottingham for the @iwa-uk.bsky.social AGM. Some decent refreshment stops around the station, Brew Tavern right on the steps of the station. Decent Chick Pea curry too.

Puzzled by this beer, labelled as if it's different to 'normal' Bleu but it's the same beer. Seems a very reasonable price although 75cl each is a tad heavy... Enjoy.

Excellent evenings entertainment at The Exchange in Twickenham listening to Nerina Pallot. She is playing the Royal Albert Hall next May, a slightly larger venue.

Check the sleeper trains, Paris to Perpignan or Toulouse can be around €35 for a 4 berth cabin.
