Rinderknech: "I was pretty much just dead after a set. I was like, you know what? Maybe I'm going to lose, but I'm going to fight like crazy. I'm going to make him tired for tomorrow and at least I'm going to help Val to at least try to start the match a little bit ahead physically at least." 😂

The Shanghai Masters final will be played between two cousin brothers - Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot!

Vacherot upset Djokovic while Rinderknech beat Medvedev - both former champions in Shanghai.

No one could have scripted this better!

World number 204 Valentin Vacherot wasn't even a qualifier at the Shanghai Masters. He was an alternate.

He has just beaten 24-times Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic for his first top-10 win to become the lowest-ranked player ever to reach an ATP Masters 1000 final.
