It’s Finley, he’s dangerous everywhere. He’s going to try to eat all the fallen apples, chase any critter he sees, and chomp the spicy jail bugs. 🐝

Maybe it’s a good thing he has to wait another year after all!

(And hopefully they still allow dogs next year - new owners)

If you get a chance to go apple picking 🍎 don’t forget to bring your human - their thumbs really come in handy for holding your snacks

It’s World Mental Health Day! I did my part by being a very good therapy-boy. Here I am just back from a visit with some law students providing much needed stress-relief!
All the humans loved giving me pets and told me what a sweet boy I was 🥰

When we go back to the Loj, the human was cold and got a hot cocoa ☕️ and when they found out it was @goodboyfinley.bsky.social birthday they said he needed a birthday treat! 🎉

We may not have been able to see the lake from the top, but luckily, when we got back down, the human brought us over to see it up close!

When we finished that one, the human brought us over to the Adirondack Loj - there’s a short climb there that we wanted to try.
It may have been short, but it was no easy! This is the trail! 😮

The human wasn't sure about her "fitness" this year so we decided to do shorter/easier hikes - we started at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, which is where they did the sliding events at the Lake Placid Olympics!

That’s it for now, friends. The human says it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. But then Thursday is Finley‘s birthday and we’re planning on going up north for a hike! Hopefully there will still be some color on the trees 🍁

There are actual trails, but we stayed on the sidewalks for the most part.
Finley was excited because there were lots of squirrels! 🐿️

Once we had enough of sitting still we convinced the human it was time to explore other parts of the park!

We appeased to the human and took some pictures with all of the flowers and fall things.
There were colorful balls 🎃 we weren’t allowed to play with, flowers we couldn’t eat (or pee on), and other things we were supposed to ignore! It’s a good thing we are good boys.

Agility class wasn’t really productive. The humans said all of us were “extra spirited” today. We did have a lot of fun though!

Although the human is talking about maybe using it to fund our advent calendar, which I’m not so sure about
