Even better; my CA friends went to the San Diego demonstration; fortunately they canceled going to Pendleton as that could have been a disaster and unnecessary confrontation with VP Vance’s Security Team.

In middle school, I had an English teacher who loved poetry. For extra credit, I memorized and recited "Invictus" and "Trees". Those were my favorite poems until I read "The Charge of The Light Brigade". 📚

How many miles? I felt your pain on Saturday; my younger sister (77yrs) and I walked 2.4 miles at an event: "Walk to End Alzheimer's). It was 80* and a tad humid. We were whipped along with my nieces and nephews.

(1 of 2) OMG, this reminded me that back in 1977, hubby & I with some friends flew from SAN to NYC. Only one seat was left in first class, so I let him take it while I sat in coach. He was seated next to Kiss lead singer, Gene Simmons. He had no idea who he was nor had he ever heard of Kiss.
