We see this christofascism writ large in the actions of the current administration, but it's especially visible in Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who has tattoos of a crusader cross, "deus vult" ("god wills it"), and "infidel" in Arabic script.

The Christian concept of "crusading" has a long and bloody history of hate, and the refrain from the far-right claiming they need to "save" or "cleanse" a city that isn't theirs is one we've heard in Portland many times in recent years.

Identifying the Proud Boys and other far-right losers from last month's flag wave in Clackamas, OR... Some familiar faces, but a few new PBs to add to your bingo cards

Proud Boys and fash ended up leaving, antifascists stayed a little longer and left shortly after.

Multiple verbal confrontations and things got a little tense a few times but it was mostly verbal. Their shitty music got drowned out by a live performance of Bella Ciao

PB’s came in and saw the stickers and got mad. The two sides are now congregated in the same spot with some more PB’s/fash across the street

Saw some stickers and flyers about a few of the far right organizers up when I got here

Currently near Clackamas mall where folks are out to counter a Proud Boy/far right flag wave scheduled for 1:30pm
