Went through Napoli Airport last Saturday at 8pm. Almost no queuing but they weren't collecting biometrics yet, contrary to reports.
Maybe they should just do a cover charge like they do in Italy, but for that, you would normally get some bread at least.
Great idea! I had a lovely little post about it around US election time last year which got absolutely no reaction 😂
There are engineering works and rail replacement between York and Wakefield/ Doncaster all weekend though so it's likely that transport will be tricky for other reasons. My Mum arrived from York yesterday, thankfully before the incident at Huntingdon.
Last year, I noticed that the US election was on our fireworks night and the UK election was on theirs.
That would be most likely. Think it would still work best with a Scottish gran though.
Mind you Beyonce would be a good call for the casting. After all, she spends loads of time in Sunderland as she seems to play the Stadium of Light every other week.
Wish this was true ha ha! However, wouldn't Meryl need to be learning a Scottish accent as Supergran was definitely Scottish?
Yep, sorry, I realised it sounded a bit muddled in the morning!
Yep, you do have to mute words yourself if avoiding spoilers. That's fine. But it only blocks posts using the muted words so doesn't include those that don't use them. It's not a biggy in the scheme of things, but a few posts did get through though thankfully not containing why major spoilers.
Plea to people posting about #celebritytraitors. Please consider those of us avoiding spoilers by muting words temporarily and use tags. Thanks.
In the Napoli area this week. So many McTominay shirts out there!
We rewatched it recently with Dover young 'uns. There are some clumsy bits but the situations in the film are hilarious! The scene at the wedding, Jules' Mum thinking she and Jess are seeing each other. Our favourite bit is the closing sequence which got played about 3 times!
I love the fact that Wolves have a player called Wolfe playing for them.
I've not had many problems either to be fair. I think Gran Canaria at half term was the worst but it wasn't much more than 20 minutes.
Someone estimated 2 minutes for first EES interaction which is ok given it was the first time and only slightly longer than the current stamping process. Will get quicker next interaction too.
Apparently Italy started rolling out in is regional airports last week but I cannot find any info about delays yet. One of the French websites did a useful round up of the roll out and delays. Sounded like manual methods still being used in many places.
After I read about it in the Guardian, I asked my year 4 child about it and she says that all the boys are doing it at school, especially in Maths. I guess it shows they are paying attention 😂 She even knows the origin story, if you can call it that, but thought it was a football game.
Well, clearly EES roll out is not causing the delays expected because if I search for EES, I get "buc-ees" or something. No idea what that is!
Panic hits reform in Alnwick, Panic hits Reform in Maidstone. I wonder to myself...
I literally came across this for the first time last week when someone on Reddit described a gig they went full of 13 year olds.
Fab, we are HH fans in all formats so will look out for that and will eagerly await new podcast. Thanks for the heads up and good luck with it!
Thanks for the info. I will listen to the Josephine Baker podcast tonight. My daughter will know the song but I haven't heard that podcast yet.
My daughter and I love the Florence Nightingale one. I'm guessing you are parodying Dido?
