I’m not sure any SEND parent can watch this without getting emotional and upset.

Honestly, we’ve found it easier not to go through it…opting to home educate without any support feels like an easier way to live.

Imagine there was a "Minister of Employment" who tracks that you attend work. And continually shames you. Monitors you. And then they fine you for not attending, because you took a holiday, or had some kind of life need or emergency.

It's ok for kids, but not for adults? Wild.

It comes as data first seen by the BBC reveals more than half of pupils who missed some of the first week went were more likely to become persistently absent.
