I think any story or work that is designed to a deliberate allegory for the "seven deadly sins" is super fucking boring. like. why? most of them aren't even bad anyway.

Personally I spend a great deal of time daydreaming and I struggle to think how I would be able to otherwise, but at the same time, I often wish I wasn't able to have such vivid dreams at all given the prevalence of nightmares ever since I was a kid. :( It's a double edged sword for sure.

Interesting! I'm familiar with aphantasia, but I'd say I'm somewhere between a 1 and 2 on that scale, so my dreams are usually extremely vivid and intense.

ya know?? Aside from the fact that the dream itself was unpleasant and scary, the actual premise would make for a pretty cool ttrpg or video game experience imo. It really had all the elements. A clear goal and stakes, multiple factions to deal with, a setting that fosters creative thinking, etc

Long vivd dream short, me and my gf ended up scraping together a raft with the goal of getting to the mainland as fast as possible. By this point, it was just before dawn and the storm was visible in the distance (quick note, the captian annouced that the storm was arriving from the northwest and-

So, we've got to avoid security *and* the apparently violent gang that's on board in an effort to find a way off of this giant ship/city in the middle of the ocean before the storm hits and kills everyone all while unraveling a conspiracy.

-game. The dream logic sort of applies a video game sort of logic to itself. So this "game" was one of those immersive survival type horror games, but the premise was that I and a shit ton of other people were all on this extremely large vessel in the middle of the ocean. SO large that it was-
