I wish my hearing were better - I miss high freq and don’t enjoy listening to some of my favourite albums now because I feel I’m missing a lot of the nuances.

Getting old is a privilege I guess, and those my age with serious disease or pain would swap it for a bit of hearing loss in a heartbeat.

Why don’t the internet streams of BBC radio stations display any details? All the other net stations I listen to - even tiny community stations - show programme name and usually track being played too.

You’re right. I thing I got 3 or 4 good portions out of a 500g packet last time, so I’ll probably freeze half of it. Makes a great easy, quick meal reheated with pretty much any veg. It took me decades to reach this point! I have to stop myself fiddling and just keep things simple - so much better.

I’m very basic: I made savoury mince last week for the first time without fucking it up with tomatoes, chilli powder etc and it was a revelation. So I’ll be making a large batch again today. In my slightly faulty Tefal Turbo Cuisine worktop cooking facility.
