He said right after bullying trans kids who want to play softball and before his scheduled ride-along to clear a homeless camp
Ron Johnson is really giving Joe McCarthy a run for his money for worst Wisconsin politician of all time
ROB SCHMITT: People are using SNAP benefits to get their nails done, to get their weaves and their hair. This is a really ugly program.

SEN. RON JOHNSON: That program needs to be dramatically reformed.

Nicotine's already incredibly addictive but when you make it taste good, can do it inside, and it doesn't affect your appearance you can do it way more. Then your tolerance goes up. Then you need more. And more. Smokers often have to plan it around breaks from work, going outside, and ppl hate it
If you want to throw trans people under the bus in an attempt to win power I certainly wouldn't view you as an ally.

We all apply litmus tests to politicians, it's just clear that human rights for trans people isn't a test that you care about.
Telling a kid your very existence is wrong, dangerous, and unwelcome is in fact life and death considering the teen rate of suicide. You're so different we can't even let you play JV softball with us is dehumanizing
I voted for her but I don't think there was anything clear about her position on Israel/Gaza, and coming from the "Hug Bibi" administration she would have had to create more daylight between her and Joe which she did not do

support whomever you’d like, but what is frustratingly dishonest about this take is that actual issue — the thing critics have identified as the problem — isn’t the decision of the 21-year old to get the tattoo, but of the judgment of the 40-year old who still has it.
I think political writers actually should have an opinion about a guy in his 40s having a Nazi tattoo. The decision to keep it on their body may tell us more than their website.

We have reached the point where the *American Bar Association* cannot find attorneys willing to represent them in litigation against the Trump administration.

And it will be called that until the day we tear it down for the illegal gaudy symbol of authoritarianism it is
The least surprising news of the day.

A little on the nose but ok
The White House's East Wing construction rubble was taken to East Potomac Golf Course. It was reported that the rubble will be used to create mounds on the golf course.

"normies do not care about this thing and so it is no use raising a stink" is imho just an excuse for not doing politics, which is the job of making normies care about something

It makes no sense to build a White House ballroom with capacity for 999 people. Unless you're going to shake down all the people who otherwise could never have been invited to a state dinner or other big function.

Oh wait, it makes a lot of sense now.

Goodnight everyone, and if you accidentally got an extremely recognizable Nazi symbol tattoo years ago and keep forgetting to get it covered up, maybe do that tomorrow and don’t spend any more extra years with an extremely recognizable Nazi symbol tattooed on your body
